Oddball propane fitting - advice?
So it turns out the trailer I bought this year has a fitting that isn't very common. The hose that goes between the regulator (at the tanks) and the hard-pipe under the trailer has a 1/2" SAE male flare fitting, not the much more common 3.8" SAE flare. I can't for the life of me find a propane hose with 1/2" Female flare, OR, a fitting that will convert 1/2" flare to 3/8" flare in that location. The trailer is a 2007, and the hard pipe and fittings on the hard pipe are pretty "locked up". The normal way to fix with would be to take the fitting off the end of the hard pipe, and just install an NPT pipe fitting with a normal 3/8" flare fitting. I'm very concerned I'm going to break something in that hard pipe system, and then I'm replacing a bunch of the hard pipe under the trailer too. I'd like to avoid that.
So to summarize I have: 1/2" Male SAE Flare and need to get that to the regulator (with a 48" hose" in there). Existing hose is too short to route around my battery box.
