For less than 200 bucks you can switch to a decent amperage 1 wire alternator with one of the brackets Vintage Auto Garage shows on their website .if that's too rich for you then just stick to your current generator....Bob
Have an update. For the same price of a powergen, I ended up getting a 100amp 1 wire alternator, 125 amp fuse, a bracket (had to modify for a 10Si case), new pos and neg wire, a new volt meter and matching oil pressure guage, and a new starter solenoid, so overall I think it was a better decision. Got the truck running yesterday and charging at around 14.5. Now just have to work on guages installation
