Sir, if it’s not leaking to inside and you can find a replacement piece, I would simply add some clear caulking around the cover’s perimeter and a big glob on top of each nut, then press and hold and maybe use some masking tape to hold it in place until the caulking cures. Least amount of work without disturbing a sealed area.
Hmm, methinks I should make a mold of mine before they pop off. Then when they do, I'll just put the mold back on top and squirt bondo/epoxy resin/caulk in to create a new piece.
My corner piece started to come loose years ago and I cannot remember how I reattached it, but I think I used flexible epoxy of some sort to glue the fasteners back together. Years later it is still good to go.

I had one fall off my truck earlier this summer, got lucky, it stuck between the cab and the truck cap. Was driving along and heard this loud squeaking, I would have bet anything, the sound was going to be bad!
CousinCarl has a great write up to fix his trim piece when it came off. I was able to order one for me from the Ford Dealer, had it in two days. O'reeely mix me up a can of paint to match my truck
I tried to order these last year. One was still in stock, but the other side was obsolete if I remember correctly. I ended up going to the junkyard and getting a set and a couple spares. Save the nuts, you will likely drop a couple….Ask me how I know.
