Fuel blowing out
Whenever I fill the rear tank up it blows fuel out the filler neck, front tank doesn’t do it just the rear. I can place the fuel pump in the neck and set it then when it gets full it kicks the pump off and fuel blows out almost like it didn’t kick off soon enough. Also when I remove the cap from the neck you can hear it either sucking air or blow air I’m assuming it’s blowing air because the cap is wet from fuel. Any idea on what it could be? Thanks in advance

Does the truck run alright on the rear tank? To me it sounds like the vent tube on the rear tank is plugged, and the noise you hear is air rushing into the tank when the cap is loosened. The fuel puking out of the fill tube is the result of air not being able to get out of the tank as the fuel fills the tank. Has someone removed the tube inside the fill hose? The tube is supposed to carry the fuel into the tank, while the air is supposed to travel out the hose to the fill opening. fuel tank vent mod redo - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums (ford-trucks.com) take a read threw this thread for a fix.
