Sorry, another no start...

My 01, isnt getting any fuel to the bowl, however I can still here the fuel pump buzzing away.
Do the pumps still make noise when they go bad, or is my pump fine and do I need to drop the tank to check for junk in the screen and lines?

your going to have to determine if theres a restriction or your sucking air between the pump and fuel tank. could be a lot of things, fuel pickup broke off or clogged screens inside of tank.theres several ways to do process of elimination on this no fuel problem.how full is your fuel tank,if fuel pickup is broke off in tank adding fuel will help problem.or bypass tank and get fresh fuel to suction side of pump test.if you get it pumping fuel you will need to check fuel pressure.search hutch&harpoon mod .

X2 on that. If your fuel tank is above 1/4 then I'd disconnect the front side line of the pump. With a bucket handy, see if the pump is pulling fuel from the tank. Hopefully that'll help narrow down whether your pump is working and which section of line (pre-pump or post-pump) your restriction could be.

One trick we used to do in the military was to inject compressed air into the tank via the filler cap to help restore a prime and help fuel forward. Might give that a shot. I took an extra fuel cap and installed a fitting on it for this purpose, but a rag and your air nozzle will do the trick pretty well. Worth a shot. Might dislodge a restriction and hopefully it'll be caught by the bowl screen.

There are two things that buzz away - the vacuum pump under the hood and the fuel pump under your door. I just wanted to make sure we were talking the same buzz.

Both are buzzing , but still no fuel. So I think I might try to prime the system with air. Iv got about 1/3 tank.
Im guessing there is something lodged somewhere, thanks for the tips. Ill go get my parka on and try to figure something out here.
