Single “pop” when steering
When turning hard in either direction while slowly rolling you can hear an audible pop or clunking noise, you can also feel in in the cab and through the steering wheel. It will only do it once in either direction so once it does it if you turn back the other way it will do it again but only once per direction.

So many things can do that. Any joint: Tie rod, ball joint, track bar end, and if you have 4x4, the u-joints at the knuckles.
It might take a few days if only once it is the morning; have someone turn the steering while you put your hand on the components mentioned and find the most significant vibration when it pops. If you can feel it in the cab, every part of the axle and steering will vibrate during the pop.
