Hello from Germany!
just starting a new account here in order to have some tips and/or information from you experienced guys to bring back this old beauty on the road.
Just started to dismantle molding, bumpers, bed, interior, etc. to preserve and paint chassis, etc.
It is a long term project for the next ... years

So here is the first issue accrued when removing front parking light housings. They are quite rusty and even have rust holes, so I just thought to buy new. But for what I saw here and also at Dennis Carpenter, LMC and Rockauto, there seems to be NO after marked rebuild or sub, but only some used units on ebay!? Which will become difficult to ship to Germany.....
But now I found this one on ebay: 1965-1967 FORD F100 F250 F350 Turn Signal Light Set Left & Right NEW #1086AB | eBay Has anybody any experience with this supplier/this set?
Just wonder, whether it make sense to solder the originals somehow and to repaint it, or if this set is so good, that rate + shipping ex US + tax is "better" than repair?
Second one: Bought a brake booster + 2 circuit master cylinder from summit racing. But carburetor has obviously rebuild in the past and it has no add. vacuum connection.
Has anybody an idea whether I can simply add. a T-fitting to the existing intake manifold fitting, so I can connect both (automatic transmission + brake booster) to this single access T-fitting?
Or do I have other, simple options I can use?
Thanks in advance for your valued comments and greetings from rainy north of Germany - What a summer......
My new/old beauty.
I have no experience with those lights but just looking at them I don't believe they will work very well.
What engine and manifold do you have? If it is a stock 352 there is a 3/8 NPT pipe plug behind the carburetor that you could install a vacuum tree in.
Try this place I have never used them, but Buzzard recommends them, and they may have all the bits and pieces you need.
Slick Truck Parts
. Yes sir it is a origin 352! Your comment sounds good to me, especially as I can get adequate spare parts/fittings over here as well. Will keep you posted
. Guess many answer I can also get within thousands of other threads within FTE, but just wanted to say 'hello'. See you and best regards.

Yes, check the intake manifold for vacuum ports, you should find one and a T fitting will work.
Not sure about the lights you posted. What exactly is the issue right now, can you post a picture? Is the housing/reflector rusted? If it is not too bad you should be able to fix it, might be some work, but can be done. Paint the inside bright white to increase the reflection. I would also go LED, but you will need a different relay which works with LEDs.
How did you get the truck to Germany?

.Thanks again for your support. It will take a while, but I will bring it back on the road.

Re. light housing: Yes there are holes inside due to rust. But I will try to fix it now. I do not trust these ebay units, I've mentioned.... Yes I already bought primer and paint. So I will try to solder it, prime it, and paint it. Below some pictures of current look....
No, LED unfortunately will not work for German authorities! The lights to the front end need to have European Union conformity and a so called "E" mark, so the "TÜV" can give his okay, and I can finally drive it on German/European roads..... (Same problem as with US headlights! Also need to swap to "E" conformity headlights). You know EVERYTHING is regulated here....
)This Oregon Truck in Germany: Actually I'm working for a RoRo Carrier Wallenius Wilhelmsen ad we are shipping thousands of cars and trucks on daily basis from/to US, so I would have been able to manage it by myself, but in this case we do have a local dealer here next to my home, who had this gramp in his stock. He has a scout at your end who is looking for solid, old cars and trucks and finally is importing some units to Bremerhaven. Some were sold as project car (like mine) some were sold technical finished and ready for German admission. (https://california-cars-trucks.de/)
I would probably leave the truck in rat look, only preserve it, but my "government" at home want me to repaint it.
Most probably it will become arcadian blue and white....See you my dear, und einen schönen Tag!
