No brake fluid

Purchased this 1986 F150 2wd. PO said the driver front caliper was bad. I replaced the caliper and brakes up front. Filled the master cylinder with fluid. Had the ol lady pump the brakes a bunch. went to the rear passenger side tire. Cracked the bleeder screw and nothing. No fluid came out. I had her pump and pump and pump to no avail. I made sure the master cylinder was full of fluid.
Thoughts?

Blocked line. You might want to start from the front, break the nuts loose, one at a time, from the distribution block and see where fluid no longer leaks from.

You can buy easy to bend ni-copper line with ends in different lengths from the auto parts store. I replace my front line across the frame a few years back. Just measure the lines you have and buy new ones.

I also have a Motive power bleeder, to flush the old fluid without a helper. Oh, you can buy qt bottles of DOT3 from Walmart for $8.00

Make sure your proportioning valve hasn't shut off one of the hydraulic circuits of your brakes. There's so much reading to do. I'll have to look into it soon myself, I think it's about time for pads and shoes on my Bullnose. Here's a good place to start:

More details about the proportioning valve here:

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...-bleeding.html

On the dash, does the brake light work? It's a dual-purpose indicator. It comes on with the parking brake or if the proportioning valve has tripped internally Does it come on with the parking brake applied and then go out when released?

If the light stays on with the parking brake released, that's a warning from the proportioning valve. Even if the light goes out, the valve could still be tripped but the indication circuit isn't working. See the link in a previous reply for details about resetting the valve.

I also HIGHLY recommend using a power bleeder. It's like night and day compared to the Michael Jackson method of brake bleeding. More details in the same link at the start of my post.
