Ain't that the truth. I've looked for a cradle adapter for mine but so far the only ones I found appear to be made out of 24k gold.

Should fit behind the seat no problem then 🤞. Getting under the axle with a flat tire is a good point. I put the jack under the trailer hitch, lifted the truck several inches, then used a large rock as a jackstand to get the clearance I needed to actually put the jack under the axle.

A good jack is handy. I have used mine zero 0 times on the road. Extreme damage to wheels or sidewall of tires I would need it.

I have used these over 30 times on the road or helping others. Most problems are debris damage to the tires. Got my monies worth with them.

To make a jack work as best as it can and be somewhat safe all the tires that are not being changed should be chocked to prevent the truck from moving when it's being jacked up. If on an inclide, put it in 4wd and park and set the parking brake to help limit movement. A board under the jack also helps. If you notice any shifting, lower the jack and reset, and jack again. Repeat if needed.

I have not used the jack that comes with the truck, but it seems better than the death traps that come with cars. On road trips i usually carry an cordless impact to make dealing with the lugs one less hassle.
