Looks good to me. I favor anything like that that's functional. It's good to know what's around you. Some people think the little peep mirrors are cute, and maybe they are, but they're absolutely useless except for covering the letter of the law. They're not for me.

52 Merc with these "experienced" eyes of mine I need ALL the help I can get 🤣🤣
Took a vacation day and was messing around with the 55'. Ran over to the local NAPA in town and after some trial and error search with the cool counter guy located a 5×7. Added an additional nut for the set screw and tried it. What does everyone think? Visibility in the blind spot is better. Napa part # 730-5788 Does not look bad. My truck is a driver in the truest sense. I have been to.the scrap yard in it this morning looking for my next welding class project. The mirror may just work out. I will test it tomorrow.
Looks good!! Can you post a picture of how you attached it to the arm ?

Hello AVf100,
Let me know if these photos dont help.
Here you see it mounted. The mirror comes with 2 M6 nuts and 2 washers. I added an additional M6 nut. You could probably get by with some Blue Loctite Here you see the two inner m6 nuts. The set screw in the arm will secure the mirror against these two M6s
Just a note about mounting... My 4.5" swan neck arms were 1/4" internal thread. The mirror I wanted (that didn.'t work better) was 5/16
I drilled the mount and put in a heli-coil for 5/16 and it worked fine
Wish someone would repo this type mirror would be very SUCCESSFUL and a GREAT seller. I would buy them in a heart beat and so would lot of others. If you hear anyone doing this I would be a BUYER .
Let me know anyone doing this or have compete directions and part #'s and VIDEO needed to do this mirror set-up.-- Thanks
F100supercrew see the mirror and gearshift that combined can be mounted on a 53-56'.
