Found a real nice 3 ton and wondering if the cab is the same as the 1 ton. I have a 1965 M250 4x4 and would like to use the cab and doors and hood off of it if I could. The fenders are different obviously. Did they come with a 352 or just with the 330 FT.

Did they come with a 352 or just with the 330 FT. No FE engines installed in anything larger than an F350.
EDIT: This 1965 Truck (M600) was assembled and sold new in Canada.
Hood is the same: 1961/66: F100/700 & B500/750 (school bus).
Doors are the same: 1961/66 F100/1100 (1961/63 F100250 Uni's have a straight thru scallop line, while the other doors have a dog leg scallop line) // 1967/69 F/FT 800/1000
It will fit, the '61-'66 F500-F600-F700 cab is essentially a '61--'66 F 350 ;61-'66 F 250 4x4 cab,'61-'65 F 100 4x4 cab, similar steering column, high floor inner step and battery box location ('61-'63's do have a lower roof line though) Super clean grain truck! Hate to see it parted, but anything goes when they get sold. IMO, the 330 was a great engine for light -medium truck service, should have been an option on the '64-'66 F 250 4x4's and F 350's. U Haul special ordered 330's in mid to late 70's F 350's for extra durability instead of the 360's and 351M's ( 360 almost identical in construction to 352's.) The grain truck should have the same 4 spd as your F 250 4x4 , the NP 435. U Haul F 350's with 330's also came with NP 435, a very durable trans.
Well I haven't bought it yet so who knows might not get it. Someone might save it. I doesn't run currenty and can't say I'm a big ft can but i guess they have their place. Just don't have much use for old grain trucks around here. Guess I'll see what happens. Thanks
