Engine mix up?

So I went to o’Reilly’s today to get some filters for my 1985 Ford F250 with a 7.3 idi. In their system there’s no 7.3 there is only 6.9 and then all the other engine options for that year. I can’t wrap my head around it.

Ford installed the 6.9L IDI diesel from 1983 thru 1987. In 1988 thru 1994 they installed the 7.3L. If you really have a 7.3L someone changed out the original engine.
