Well, I took the easy and suggested way out. I returned the 8 x 6.5 adapters and returned the 8 x 6.5 rims. Then bought the same rims in the 8 x 200 bolt pattern. I will just carry a front spare tire (8x200) and hopefully be able to limp a rear flat tire to a shop if it is only one tire out of the duals.
I guess it's a little late, unless you can return those wheels, but i was looking at pics of the SD front DRW adapter. You could've had all the holes welded up and then have the face turned flat and the 8x6.5 pattern put in. Probably would cost about the same, maybe a little more, as 2 new wheels.
You might also be able to have your rims, or at least your spare, drilled with both patterns so they are interchangeable
This place also makes really nice custom adapters. These are the OBS ones but they could make some with the SD hub pattern, 8x6.5 wheel pattern, and whatever thickness you need to fit the rim s you have. https://torqueking.com/product/42176...5-97-f250-f350
