Blinking OD light

The truck is sluggish to take off on account of the light blinking. Currently it’s intermittently going off. I wanted to ask what else to look for besides a chafed wire under the steering wheel cowl.

You need to read the codes. Something is wrong and the codes will tell you where to look. Without the codes, all I can tell you is that something is wrong.

There was a large gash with corrosion on the passenger side battery contacting the battery tray. After replacing the cables the problem seems to have went away with no codes.
