Use a #10 wire with the correct terminals frame to cab, you want the same from the engine to the cab. Also run another #10 to the radiator support from the battery. Strange things happen when things are not grounded together.
I grounded my cab from the top of the engine to the cab on my 72 f250 like it was factory on my 70 f250. I think I will add an extra for the heck of it from the frame to cab while I am making a ground to the bed.

This is exactly what I have read , but did not know 100% about the cab to frame !
I was already in the process of battery to radiator support with a #12 . I did almost twist 2 #12's together because I thought one #12 was slightly too small
There is actually a place on the firewall for an engine ground I have a #12 on it . I will change all to a #10 or bigger in the future
THANX.......
Wonder what 2 #12's equal to

I totally agree with Kenny cause I read about the exact 3 locations as he but did not know the size wire & if you actually needed a wire because the cab sits on the frame
I kinda figured the engineers would want an actual wire ........Now I must figure out where to put the wire..........
Thank-you both for the replies.....
I make my own out of old battery cables. Probably heavier than necessary, but it works.
I have done some commercial electrical work & was told you can never have too big a ground , one case where BIGGER is better !!! I started post to see what you guys thought was the minimum or factory specification !!! I just wanted a quick solution until I could find a correct or even bigger one !!!
I do think but far from certain that my brake lights & marker lights are brighter since I added the ground !!!
I have seen a ground strap actually , but think that may have been for a Chevrolet , maybe a Ford but it looked good but was $15.00 I think , probably more...........and even more since then since everything seems to have gone up in price..............!!!
