I have a TST 507(?) for my F-450 and have the 10 sensor kit. Will I need the repeater mounted on the trailer, or do they have a decent enough range to make it to the cab? Does anyone know if the repeaters are all the same? I already have one on there for the standalone TPMS I used with my F-350. It's a
and that one I will install on the old RAV 4 since it's TPMA is in error all the time even with new sensors. I have a trip in 2 weeks and the weather has bee rather crappy to be out working on the RV so if I can get by without having to replace the repeater, that would be great.

I also have the TST flow through sensors on my 40' 5th Wheel without the repeater, and have never had an issue with the trailer sensors communicating to the cab monitor, except when the batteries were getting weak. Replaced the batteries and no further issues. But I have read of others having problems so they installed the repeater. Try it without the repeater and see if you have issues. As far as the repeaters being the same, I can't answer that.
I have used the TST507 setup on my 40’ TT behind our ‘05 Excursion without the booster and had good performance, I think the trailer axles to dash distance here would be a little farther than most fivers.
The answer is, either the repeater is 100% compatible, or the sensors are etremely powerful. The head unit picked all four up while the truck was IN the garage with the trailer being at least 100 yards away. and NOT in direct line of sight!
Bad news is the Tyrmate caps wont fit the RAV4 wheels with the covers attached without some grinding.
1/2 mile range, not kidding. As I left the house and waiting for the sensors to come up, I was about a 1/2 mile away and one of the trailer tires popped up. These buggers have some range.
