Do you or anyone else have the number for the ICM?

Therein lies the paradigm. Given you are getting only Code 212 I would be inclined to replace just ICM and use the correct heat sink compound. But then again the age of the PIP/Stator and it's habit of dying when warmed up you are probably better off replacing it too. So start with the ICM and heat sink compound. If the Code 212 is resolved then do the PIP. If the code is not resolved...then also replace the PIP/Stator.
I'm a little confused by the dialogue above. To help clarify: my truck has a grey ICM. Also worth noting is that, to my knowledge, the distributor is not the original. I believe the previous owner told me that he had replaced it. So, which part numbers should I be looking for exactly?

It's the goo that you spread on the back side of the ICM before mounting it to the distributor or heat sink (remote mounted ICM). Many of the ICMs these days come with a packet of dielectric grease. It's not the same thing and should be discarded, then apply real heat sink compound.
I've been out of town and just getting back to this.
So, I replaced the ECM and when reinstalling the distributor I had it 180 degrees out of sync (I had taken it apart and didn't think to pay attention to how it was aligned when I pulled it). When trying to realign the timing I was having trouble (obviously with it 180 out of alignment) I heard a pop and saw a small whisp of smoke rise over on the passenger side of the engine compartment. I couldn't see what the smoke came from with certainty but then found that the top of the map sensor had blown right off. I can't start it right now and so I pulled the codes with the engine cold they are 558 and in memory 121 and 452. Should I just go ahead and replace the MAP sensor assuming that's what smoked?
