This morning, I went out to go to work and when I turned the wipers, on, they were very hesitant and eventually stopped moving. After a bit, they would only work when i turned them up all the way to high. If i try to turn them to any intermittent position, they will immediately stop. I changed out the wiper motor about a year ago, thinking that may be the problem but it is happening again. Is their a relay I am missing or do i have another bad wiper motor? I can hear some kind of clicking from under the dash when I rotate the dial.
From what you're describing... sounds like a bad relay, but I don't have a print in front of me. However if the intermittent wiper switch is at fault the relay could be energizing-de-energizing. You need a print.
What exactly do you me about a print? I see online theres a diagram that shows two relays under the hood, 207 and 208, One of them, 207, is for wiper run/park. 208 is for wiper hi/low. Are these interchangeable with the other relays? Looking online, they look like 5 pin relays but i can't find an exact part number to run to NAPA to get. Any advice?
