Got in the 22' the other day and both trip 1 & 2 were half way reset in a strange way where miles travelled was gone, but time wasnt and stuck on .3 mpg. I reset them again and they went back to normal. Never had this happen in the 17's and 19' i owned. I have read about this issue on other forums and seems somewhat common but without resolve from ford. Anyone here run in to this?
Also seeing a glitch at startup, pretty much every time, where the brightness adjustment screen and or gear selection is stuck on the gauge cluster display. Also annoyingly the display automatically reverts back to mph upon every startup.
I really want to like this truck, but damn new fords keep leaving a bad taste in my mouth. Maybe it wont be a lemon like my 19' turned out to be.. Hey at least its not randomly shutting off or burning oil, yet.

I just bought a 23 and it only has about 8000 miles on it and the same thing started happening to me about 500 miles ago. I figured it was some sort of computer glitch but glad to know it isn't just my truck.
My '22 5.0 does the same thing randomly. I've had it about a year, and have tried several scenarios to recreate it. Best I can tell, it has something to do with starting the truck with the door open, then as the display starts to give you all the silly messages like "Door Ajar" , "Engine On", etc, etc......I kept hitting, not holding, OK to clear each message as it appeared, it would, sometimes happen. It's still a terribly random thing. Whether it actually has to do with the door being open or not, I think it definitely has something to do with hitting the OK button, whether accidentally, or deliberately, while the startup screen is going through it's multiple messages. Sorry it's so vague, but I have been able to recreate it, but not with the clarity I would like to have.
Saw this thread again so figured I would weigh in on the intermittents with my '22 Lariat I've had intermittent information screen malfunctions since new, the most noticeable being the backup camera failure to come on. Ford did not seem to take it seriously and I really did not want them tearing into it looking for an intermittent problem. It was suggested that one of the software updates may fix it. A forum member suggested I try reseating the fuses. I checked under the hood fuses and they all were about halfway in. I reseated them and the problem seems to have gone away. At least it has not happened in about a week.
