Replaced alternator - observations.
Replaced my alternator yesterday. A few things that seem to be better that I had just gotten used to over the last few months. I was experiencing a long start condition. That seems to be gone now. I have an aftermarket subwoofer powered by an aftermarket amplifier. The amp was occasionally switching between power and protect mode. I double checked all the connections and ohmed out the speaker and everything was good. That also seems to be gone. I was also noticing the key fob was sluggish in locking and unlocking the doors. That also seems to be gone. I wouldn't have thought that a dying alternator could cause these problems but that seems to be the case.
