My truck has been running weird and throwing alot of codes. Ive recently noticed a wire that is dangling from behind the battery and it looks as if it is going to the computer. I need help identifying it. I believe its the source for all my headaches. I believe the wire is yellow but due to age looks kind of neon green. The wire is bolted to the firewall as some sort of ground so I believe its a ground from the computer. Here are 2 photos of the wire.

Reason: I needed to highlight the wire for clarification
I agree its a ground wire but nirnally when a wired is added its black or red. This appears to be yellow and now im having issues out of the truck and the computer is saying the ecc power is shorted to ground. So im thinking this is the groumd wire and it was ripped out of where it belongs. Unfortunately I can not find the other end of the ripped wire and ive come to the conclusion that it goes to the pcm pin out but I have no idea which pin. So om looking for a little help
If someone has a wiring diagram that would be very helpful to my problem. Lol. I really do thing the wire goes into the pcm wiring cluster but I cant find the other end of the broken wire. Which os why I think its in the plastic pin block going into the computer
Your local library should have AllData where you can print out the diagram free
Unless that wire has a nice eyelet with a built in lockwasher, iyt is not a factory wire
Means it will not show up on a Ford wiring diagram
If by chance it does have the Ford Ground Eyelet, Then it most likely is a processor ground
