Im having a laundry list of codes in a 1997 f150 4x4 4.6. I do not have an electrical diagram so im shooting in the dark. The codes are 0136,0156,0161,0401,1405,1131,0304,1000and 1500. Ive changes 3 of the 4 o2. Changes the vss and the wheel speed sensor. It started to run fine but after 200 miles or so it is now running so rich it pours gas out the tailpipe. Its starting to miss and will not handle any load. I do have an oil leak possibly at tje valve cover causing the cylinder 4 misfire. I was going to try and fix one thing at a time starting with the 02 sensors not heating up. Unfortunately I have no idea how to do this. Any help would be appreciated. A wiring diagram would help so much.
Generally, the heater burns out in the HEGO
Generally, do not see much trouble with the wiring or the processor for that circuit
Clear codes again and retest
The P1000 means you have done it once and it has not passed it's monitors yet
You are supposed to deal with the lowest numerical codes first
The 1404 and the 401 are related and if a 5.4 you check the silicone vacuum lines to the DPFE, and if okay replace it
There is some diagnosis, pinpoint tests, I perform so I do not cause myself grief for that DPFE
1500 the speed sensor VSS could be anywhere depending on what you are driving
Generally check the ohms for within spec, and you can test milivolt output with the trans output shaft or rear axle turning
Most likely needs a new sensor, or if on the rear axle, check the connector first
