o2 codes/ terrible millage

Unhappy o2 codes/ terrible millage

i have a 97 f-150 4x4 4.6 got it from dad for $2500
problem is my check engine light keeps coming on i have `1 saying the o2 is heated 2 it has a slow response 3 switchpiont indicats lean (all bank 2 sensor 1)
is there anything that can cause the o2 to miss read? i have changd it twice and still have the same codes

i also have a code saying insuficent egr recerculation

i have an exhuast leak (whole nother story, its brand new, been back five times, and still leaks! nightmare) gonna take to another shop and get it sealed up proper - can this leak cause my o2 codes- can the system itself cause it?
it is true dual into 2 cats (1 per side) and cherry bomb turbo mufflers
dissapiontinly quiet

none of these codes were on before the exhuast was done, and since then my millage has droped from aroun 18-19 to 10-10.5

If your leak is before the o2 sensor, then yes it can cause problems. You may also have a bad spot in the wiring to the driver side front O2 sensor.

my leak is after the front two but i thought bank two sensor one meant passenger side front? did i change the wrong one?

Yup, Fords are the opposite of Chevies. The number one cylinder is the frontmost cylinder on the passenger side.
