Every engine has a point of relaxation where it usually stops after you turn it off. If you have a starter that isn't engaging on EVERY engine start and you get that gear grinding sound, it won't take long before you are facing the same repair bill as the one who posted that picture.

Simple Solution, just stop the engine with those knarley teeth on the other side of the engine

Maybe he could mark a pulley up front with where them teefs are at and keep tools in the tool tray to spin the engine away from them.

My vote is for retrofitting one of those old engine hand cranks coming out the front. Then it could be vintage and custom all at once.

sure have. I am about $30,000 lower in plow revenue then last year or the year before, but looks like I get to get up at 4am and plow the white stuff coming tonight
