Found weird tach
the bullnose dash was wired into a 91 F450 with a bucket on the back and a 7.3 NT.
it had a bullnose interior but an OBS steering wheel
anyone else ever seen something like that? I wired the tach in and it works perfectly for my 300
best part is, the Speedo is 7 digit. Not 5 or 6. And I checked if it was in KM but it’s in MPH. Sucks I have a speedo cable or I’d have used it.
sorry for the long post I’m just confused
tach looks good in my truck

They're a great swap-in for the lower revving 300 inline 6.
The medium duty trucks all had the 6 digit odometers. The Canadian trucks got the 6 digit odometers I believe starting in 1983. From 1980-1982, the km/hr speedometers were 5 digit same as the US/miles ones were all along in the pickups.

On the odometer that is a standard odometer with a tenth mile wheel. The cluster I bought for my truck to get a tach ended up having a optional speedometer cluster that has a trip odometer. My original cluster without tach had the plain speedometer without trip odometer.
This is a photo of my speedometer while I was repainting the needles, this shows the trip odometer.
There was also a speedometer with a million mile odometer, these were found in the larger trucks the F450 and larger. They read up to 999,999.9 miles before rolling over, my plan was to swap the odometer wheel into my speedometer as I didnt want to lose the trip odometer. I found out how ever that the wheels look narrower it still was wider than the hundred thousand mile odometer that was standard and would not fit. I still have this NOS unit put up how ever as I have been playing around with the idea of building a '80-'86 flare side mud truck for off roading.
