Bad shake on slow acceleration
Has the tranny fluid been changed?
Has the fuel filter been changed?
So, it doesn't matter the gear but rather the RPM?
No sign of this hestitation when the engine is not under a load? ie. idling

Bad shake on slow acceleration
There is a small intermitant vibration at idle, tranny and filter as delievered. The shake seams worst in third gear about 30-65 mph but really depends upon amount of throttle.

Bad shake on slow acceleration
I had a similiar problem on my excursion. Vibration on acceleration and de-acceleration, none on coast. The dealership first reported no problem found, then I got it to do it with a rep on board. They decided it was the tranny. When they started to remove it by removing the drive shaft the yoke fell off. The loose yoke (never tighten at the factory) caused the driveshaft to lose it's center and vibrate. Symptoms alot like u-joints but opposite. Good luck.
