no problems for a while, but now when I press the gas shakes, also when I'm on the freeway and slow down, and then I press the gas shakes very bad, to stop the shaking I have to accelerate harder. When I'm in cruise control runs okay, but it feels is not running smooth.
I have a 1992 Ford f-250 5.8 gas, auto.

Sounds like a bad plug wire or 2. Will it do it sitting still, in drive, brake applied and give it some gas? Maybe a complete tune up is in order.

Get some decent quality wires, I've seen the cheaper ones fail in a very short time. I've had good luck with Napa.

 

I won't even buy chain store plug wires anymore. I put 2 sets from oreillys on my tbird that were junk in 2 weeks. I bought a set from ford racing that have been good for 2 years. MSD also has very good products.
