On regens I find that switching to manual works better. I watch the soot levels with iDash and usually when they reach 70%, the truck will warn that it needs to regen so then I can manage When it regens to get a full cleaning. Before this it would happen at times where I had 5 miles left to go and never completed. I noticed that it went from 498 miles to regen to 630 miles between as well. I am getting roughly 1200 between regens now.

Nothing draconian about regulating pollution. Evidently clean air and clean drinking water and unadultrated food is not important to you. It is important to most people of even average intelligence and morality, neither of which is common in the USA.

It's called a point of diminishing returns. The idiots in office push for more EV, Solar, wind, etc. but we are already at the point where we have the lowest emissions of any other country. Now they are banning homes from getting natural gas to heat and cook with, and go all electric, yet the power production is coming from Natural Gas and coal with very little wind and solar, and the latter is inefficient in producing enough to meet demands. In the meantime, as you pointed out, other countries with higher populations than the US are doing NOTHING to curb emissions. Stop the EV push and focus on those countries. Once THEY reach the levels that the US is already at, then maybe there will be some better alternatives to fossil fuels, but until then, its no better than pissing in the wind.

Since you went and stepped right into this, I'll make a quick comment here but please, if you feel the need to join the other liberals in The Club, buy a membership and we can discuss your signature.

Number one, my truck is stock and will stay that way because I live in the hills south of Buffalo, so I am having zero issues with my emissions system. Plus I also live in the blue state of New York who follows the CARB laws.

Number two, I am well aware of the dirty air in China as well as other countries who do not do what we, the US, does with regulations. IMO, the delete companies got hammered by the EPA because of all the coal rollers (which I disagree with) on social media which grabbed their attention.

Number three, I like my air and water clean also but truth be told, the green agenda is driven by the religion of climate change. That is a discussion that can be had in the Club if you care to join.

One more point, it's rather weird to me how the EPA can allow tons of toxic chemicals to be released through approval of burning those RR cars in East Palestine, Ohio but poo poo responsible owners of deleted trucks in this country while our military as well as other countries keep rolling emissions free.

One more thing, you really shouldn't put words in other people's mouths. You might look like a fool...

I've used Peak DEF in our 2016 Ram since new until recently I changed to Shop Pro from Autozoo, we did have a problem for the first 100k having the DEF injector clogging due to crystalisation, then finally wiping out the exhaust filters and cat, installed new exhaust emission garbage at 180k, then I started a routine maintance on every oil change (10k) by removing the DEF injector and cleaning it up, no problems since at 300k miles now, and the injector looks the same using the new DEF, crystalisation.

So maybe a design flaw on Rams part but if you can remove the injector clean it out.

The real problem is the pursuit of personal health and climate change are two separate issues, but too many without proper education see it as all one agenda. I completely agree with you and so do many others with the appropriate scientific background that our goal should be to bring every underdeveloped nation up to the emissions standards of the EU and U.S. which is focused on noxious emissions affecting personal health and not CO2 emissions that have not been proven to affect "Global Warming". We are at the point now where the emissions from fossil fuels in the U.S. are almost 100% CO2 and nothing noxious.

Don't forget they had to change that term, "global warming," as it was found that the earth was cooling... so Climate Change it became!!

Autozoo is a new one for me, around here they are known as Vatozone. I do think the title does say it all though, DEF is DEF regardless of the label or brand. DEF is a catalyst for the SCR to reduce NOx, and as long as it meets the proper percentage and is clean, will get the job done and would have no ill effects on Regens. With the SCR placed right behind the turbo, the DEF injections vaporize almost immediately, then spreads across the medium in the SCR causing the chemical reaction to eliminate NO. By the time it leaves the SCR, no DEF should be present, only CO2 and particulate from combustion. IOW DEF should never reach the DPF as long as the SCR is functioning properly. You do get a funky aroma out the tailpipe though.

Seems to be a few cockroaches crawling through various threads. They're never happy unless causing grief.
