E99 No Start Situation
Down to the problems:
I drove it probably 10 miles a week ago, and it had no issues. The tank was at about an 1/8, but I could hear the pump go quiet when I tried to start it the day after, like it lost fuel. (It has since become audible again after putting fuel in the tank) I’ve since put 5 gallons of diesel in the tank, and it still refused to fire. It sputters and tries to start, gets REALLY close to firing, but fails to. I also in that time changed out my glow plug relay for a White Rodgers upgraded unit, and my glow plugs have less than 5000 miles on them. The truck smokes out of the tail pipe like it getting fuel, but refuses to fire.
I’ve unplugged the ICP, no difference. There’s some oil in the connector, but that’s been there for a minute and never failed me. I also changed out the CPS for a Standard product one about 2 months ago, but I still have the OEM CPS that I believe still works. The CPS still reads about 180 RPM cranking speed, and when it hits on the one cylinder it reads about 230-240
The truck was low on oil, which I’ve rectified, but still no change.
any and all advice would be appreciated.
