6.2=6.8?

I can find next to no info on the new 6.8L. Is it an enlarged 6.2 or a cut down 7.3? Or is it new?

The cast crank is probably fine up to around 600 hp. If you planned on boost, Forged is the way to go. The 6.2 bottom end is stout. Lots of guys on the raptor forums running around 600-700 hp on stock internals.

OK we're getting into the weeds here. OP's question was if the 6.8 is based on the 6.2. It isn't. It's a based on the 7.3.

So I am moving this from the 6.2 forum to the 7.3 forum where the 6.8 will be added soon.
