Truck is still in the shop since 1/23/23. 35 Days in total...
Ford/Dealer finally thought it was time to order a complete new rear axle. Told me another 7-10 days to get the axle + Install time.
I feel skeptical with the dealers competence to resolve this issue after almost 5 weeks. How quick is the Ford Buyback process or should I pressure the dealer just to refund me my money if things just don't seem to resolve?
Sucks that I cannot find the same truck at another dealer to buy, waiting 1 year and having to go through this is a nightmare. Anybody else would just walk away from this, maybe im just too patient.
I had a sound like this on my 20 they replaced turbo and went away on my 21 they replaced the solenoid on turbo and it’s gone
Truck is still in the shop. Still no word on Axle ETA.
Went to another Ford dealer and asked about finding a rear axle. They can get all the parts for it, just not a complete assembly. Not sure why my servicing dealer cant do this unless ford directed to send a complete built rear axle.
