Back to work on the 6.0. 4x4
2004 f350 with 6.0. Starts good goes into reverse and moves good. But when I put kit in any forward gear it will not move.
Have pulled the wiring harness off and checked all the wires. Changed the shift motor. Changed the transmission. Kept
the transfer case. Changed the module behind the glove box.
When I changed the trans drove it maybe a 100 yards down driveway wheels locked up and would not move in forward gear. Reversed it back to shop. Changed the pcm.
codes are p1876 transfer case 2-wheel drive solenoid circuit failure.
p1832 transfer case differential lock-up solenoid circuit failure
p1865 transfer contact plate power short to ground.
Sorry I should have added that the 4x4 light on the dash does not come on when the key is first turned on. Nor does it come on when I turn the **** to 4x4.
What does "wiring harness off and checked all the wires" mean? Was each wire checked for continuity from end to end, short to ground, and short to power?
