My f250 has no power. I had a problem with a leak to my fuse box at one point when it rained. Which would make the starter turn without key in. One time it rained and the starter was turning awhile I was sleep and it burnt the cable off battery. It had a hard rain the other day. I woke up went to truck and no power. I turn the key and no lights or nothing come on. I have no idea where to start
Corrosion in the fuse box will require a replacement. May also have a bad BCM due to the water leak. If you’re weak with electrical diagnostics take it to a mechanic because you’ll waste $$ throwing parts at it.
Have you fixed the leak? If not start there.....
Is the battery dead?
Did you check the battery cables to make sure it didn't short out and cook one again?
Electrical systems are probably one of the harder things to diagnose, especially when water is involved. If you know how to read a wiring diagram you can get a factory service manual and systematically trace all the wiring, circuit by circuit, starting at the battery. The problem is, if you got that much water in your fuse box, it got into other stuff, and it's just a matter of time before you start having random electrical problems from corrosion. The only way to try and mitigate it is to pull all the connections, clean them and put dielectric grease on all the contacts.
