Does it click or try to turn over. Just fixed my father n laws 01 F150 during Thanksgiving his would turn real slow then was fine at times. Found the battery positive cable terminal at starter was corroded and barely holding together. Also happened to my uncle on his 99 F250 at home depot he called me up and we I got there his did nothing, good power like you are discribing. Just would not crank over or click. His was the terminal on the starter rusted off where positive cable attached. Just my 2 cents but check power cables to starter make sure they are good and clean.

It just clicks everything else has good power, I notice the theft light blinking but i think it recognizes the key cuz when I turn the key to the on position the light goes off, also the hood won't release now I think it froze over night
Have your wife turn the key as if you were starting it while you climb underneath with a hammer and rap on the starter with the hammer while she turns the key..

I would try beating on it with the hammer, Bigpipes has no idea what he's talking about
Battery is now at 14v it still just clicks at the starter even when I bang on it I would assume at this point it's the starter although when I turn the key all the way forward the battery drops to 10.9v so I'm gonna assume battery?

I went through a similar event a few months back. at 10.9 volts, that battery doesn't have enough power to start the truck. I was monitoring my voltages and anytime I was <11 volts the starter didn't do diddly. at about 10.5 volts the radio will stop working FYI!
