I posted this in the y block section but didn't get any replies so posting here in the hopes of getting a reply.... My wife and I decided to see if we could make some progress on the 292 that's been on the back burner for a while today. We got to the timing set and realized our cam thrust plate is broken and the eccentric, etc is super rusty. Also seem to be missing a spacer according to the book. Does anyone have an extra set or a source that sells all the parts to install the timing set? (Minus the actual timing gears and chain)

I've called and left message after message for Mummert. Never answered, never returned my calls. I'll keep trying I guess.
The rest of the engine did look kinda like this, and it ran! Short block and heads are completely machined and put together already. Dug these parts out of storage.
Not hearing from Mummert isn't unusual, he has a busy operation. Just as a note, when reassembling be sure the small bevel on the spacer washer is against the cam.
