Front brake hose through the frame

After installing Posies lowering springs on the stock front axle, the brake hoses from the calipers to the frame are too long. They rub the tire at maximum turn position. I'm about to order shorter hoses. The existing brake hoses came with the Speedway disc brake conversion kit. When I installed them I had difficulty making the hose connection through the stock hole in the frame. Our stock F100 frames are about 5/32" thick. The clip type connection on the hose is designed for thinner material. I beat the clip on to make it work. Not ideal. I have been searching for a hose with a bulkhead threaded connection on one end with no luck. They are available in AN type bulkhead fittings but I want to stay with the existing 3/16" hard line/ tube nut connection. Any ideas?
Thank you.

I did a Crown Vic front end and boxed the frame. I also put a custom fit channel within the frame channel, so my frame is .338 inch thick at that location. Using the existing hole in the frame wasn’t an option, so I had custom hoses made.
My problem was that when I made a custom mount that attached to the CV front suspension, my hoses weren’t long enough. I made my connection point out of 1/8 inch steel and the clips were very snug. Putting it in the factory frame that is .150 thick would be really tight.
I could not find any custom hoses with a bulkhead end. I wanted to stay with DOT legal hoses, so AN fittings were not an option.
I found someone that made hoses that had one end similar to the factory connection on the CV front end. These hoses have a hard line that moves the hose toward the center of the hub and away from the wheel before transitioning to the braided stainless hose..

I was considering using a knife file and carefully opening up the groove on my frame connection point, but I was able to get my clips on my custom mount without doing that.

M2HB I will carefully file the groove to widen it. Thanks.

You can do like a lot of off-road vehicles do and attach a light weight spring, like a carb return spring, to the hose and the frame. It will hold the hose away from the tire but will allow it to move as needed.
