Where I am having issues is how to mount the brake hose to the frame. (not the hard brake line but the flex brake hose from the disk caliper. The original drum brakes used a bulkhead type of fitting, where the outside (wheel side) of the frame, the brake hose would go though and on the inside of the frame, there was a nut to secure the brake hose to the frame. Then you could route your brake line (with a 90deg bend) into this brake hose. But the brake hose was secured to the frame. The brake hoses I have don't seem to mount to the frame anyway, the clips leave it very loose.
I seem to find -3AN bulkhead or 90 deg fittings, but nothing that is 3/8"-24 I.F. bulkhead/though frame fittings.
Am I just making this more difficult then it needs to be? Any pictures on how you routed the brake hose thought the frame to the hard brake line?
The banjo bolt mounts the appropriate end of the brake hose to the caliper with copper washers. The other end mounts to a "tab" on the frame with a round hole, and is secured by a U-shaped brake line clip that you should be able to find at any auto parts store. If, due to modification, you don't have those tabs, you can make them and weld them to your frame at the appropriate location. Once in the tab, the metal line and flared end can be connected to that end of the brake hose. You don't use bulkhead connectors.
a little pricey i probably make my own a picture is worth a thousand words drill a hole in a piece of 1/8 angle iron and file the hole to fit the hose

IDK, buy something that bolts in and fits or spend a day trying to replicate it.
My time is worth more than the cost of those brackets.
There may be cheaper vendors such as Summit Racing. My intent was to show what part to look for.
Hey, thx all. Even in the wrong forum, still excellent responses and ideas. Thx much.
yes, the picture is what I can do. I have the 90deg bracket and the clips, just could think on how to use it. I have a hole in my frame from the original drum brake setup, but I think I will go with this idea. Use the bracket to secure the flex line and use the hole for the hard line.
