Yes I had read something about that, bou the omitting of that leaves owner no way to monitor the olim which is what the owners manual states is the standard of measurement. In an effort to decrease impact on the environment and oil changes.
NO way to monitor oil life? What about on the dash?
NO way to monitor oil life? What about on the dash?
Before 2019 I've read some didn't have it in the dash. They do get an oil change soon prompt on the dash. I think apps like Forscan lite can show percentage.
Okay so I finally got resolution on this issue and some of you folks were correct that Ford deleted all of the 3G features what they did was they transferred them all over to ford.com and you can see the vehicle health on there which I'm hoping means the oil life monitor and she told me that I can't see my truck because I haven't plugged it into the USB port for an extended period of time which that was unknown so when I get my truck back after they change the upper oil pan gasket again and do the recalls and fix the paint and body work that they messed up when they had my truck from the accident I'll check all that out and I'll let you know
You cant see the truck, as in it's not in your garage in the app or on the Ford site?
Who knows what she means by plugging into the USB port. The truck info as seen on the app has always been available on Ford.com, that isn't something new with this feature change.
My only issue with the FordPass app is that it doesn't work between Canada and the US. Earned points in the US but Canadian dealer would not accept them to pay for an oil change. Also did not get points on the app for paying for that oil change. Got back to the US and appealed that to Ford and they said, sorry, the Canadian and US apps don't communicate and there is no fix. Not my first disappointment with Ford.
