I have a 2018 KR that I was in a fender bender worst was had to replace radiator. I was able to see my truck and olim on it along with fuel and mileage. I get my truck back and am no longer able to see it. I connected the forscan to it and I looked into instrument and pcm nothing. Dealer gave useless excuse. Can anyone tell me where I might begin to restore this?
I have called Ford pass and they told me that I don't have the 4G module in my truck. I asked them how did I see it before? It shouldn't be because Ford pass should at least show basics. To monitor oil life either inside truck or on Ford pass.
That is interesting. There may be some truth to that statement. I know my provider just shut down their 3G network a few weeks ago. We got a letter statiing that my wife had to replace her phone. It would no longer work after 12/3/2022.
Yes curious but this started before that and I cannot believe Ford would develop a system to monitor the truck that would be obsolete in 4 years?
A heads up was sent out awhile back and the information regarding the removal of some features is on their site. Pretty much those without the 4g modem, so pre-2019, lost certain features in the app.
I'm ok with some features but all features that make an owner blind to their vehicles important information? I appreciate the information but again I cannot believe Ford would disable something that was designed to protect their vehicles?

I'm not sure what you mean by designed to help protect their vehicles?
To me it's nothing more than a convenience app. When it was originally introduced I believe they intended to make it a pay service. Shortly after my purchase in 2019 Ford sent a notification saying it would now(then) be complimentary.
Yes I had read something about that, bou the omitting of that leaves owner no way to monitor the olim which is what the owners manual states is the standard of measurement. In an effort to decrease impact on the environment and oil changes.
