11 digit vin

I know this gets asked a lot and I'm new here. I am buying a 1967 F600 grain truck. And really can't find no where on line to decode the vin. Some I can other parts I can't. Please help

N60CUB00521
163. U. N600. 481. A. F7
19500. 1. 64. 3800. 34

That's what's on tag.
Any help would be great.

Welcome to FTE! You have an N600, not an F600. F series look like the pickups with the long hood. Many cab parts interchange with the F series, but as you can see, lots don't either.

N60 = N600 gas

C = 330 2V MD FT gas V8. MD for Medium Duty, which in your model years means this engine had the same crank as a 352--cast iron instead of steel. I has the smaller crank snout and the smaller oil pump drive, both the same as the FE engines.

U = Louisville Truck Plant

BB00521 = 1967 numerical series, March 1967 production

163 = 163 inch wheelbase

U = Medium Green

N600 = N600 gas, 19,500 lbs GVWR

481 = 4 = Medium Beige Crush Vinyl & Medium Beige Bar Pattern Vinyl / 81 = 81A Standard Cab

A = New Process model 435 four speed transmission

F7 = Eaton model 13802 Two Speed Rear Axle / ratios 5.83/8.11 / 15,000 lbs. Rear Axle Capacity

No front axle code. In '64-'69 only optional axles were listed. Thus you have the standard Ford axle of 4,500 to 5000 lbs capacity, given your GVWR and rear axle rating.

19500 = 19,500 lbs GVWR

164 3800 = 164 certified net HP @ 3800 RPM, the numbers for the 330.

34 = Indianapolis District Sales Office. This truck was not a special order.

Your front wheels have the split locking ring design. While you may have to search for a truck tire shop to work on those, they are "safe" and not the "widow maker" type. Check you rear wheels for the split locking rings which will be facing each other inside the duals.

Looks like it's a runner in decent shape!

Thank you for all that info, really appreciated it.
