D70 = '80 to '86 C700 diesel "Sleeper"
U = Caterpillar 3208N OR 3208T 636 CID V8 diesel engine OR Detroit 8V-92TA or 8V-92TTA 736 CID V8 Diesel. (The engine code "U" covers all these but it's probably the Cat engine as IIRC someone mentioned the 8V-92 won't fit under a C series cab. The engine should be easily identifiable as one or the other)
V = Kentucky Truck Plant
JA78888 = 1980 numerical series.
206 = 206 inch wheelbase
No paint code, could be part of the special order
D701 = C700 diesel. GVWR listed as 21,000 lbs, but the certification lable shows 29,800 lbs. Since this is a special order and axle codes are not shown, the axles and GVWR were probably part of the special order.
DSB = I do not have the upholstery info for this one. Here is another contradiction as the "8" indicates Standard Cab, not sleeper (code 9)
