new fluid when replacing steering gear box?
My 1994 E150 Club Wagon suddenly lost power steering just when turned to the right. I got a replacement PS gear box and my mechanic will be installing it. Will he also need to replace the power steering fluid when he does this? If yes, I will provide the Motorcraft Type F automatic transmission and power steering fluid. How much would be needed?

Sure, why not flush the rest of the system and put new fluid in? Sorry, not sure of the quantity needed.
You might consider having the hoses replaced at this time,too if they appear to be the originals.
