Easy Steering

Just curious, my 1990 E150, all new tie rods and links, new shocks, no play in steering but I can basically steer it with one finger, there is no resistance at all in the steering. Is this normal? I would think with the engine weight that it would be heavier. Am I wrong? I'd like your thoughts please.

My E250 definitely has stiffer steering than that but it is also stiffer than my previous E250 which had pretty light steering, I believe this truck has a couple tight ball joints. If everything in the front end is in good shape and alignment is where they need to be these trucks should have pretty easy steering.

Okay, thanks Conanski, My old 68 E100 had manual steering and my other 95 Chevy van had power but was much stiffer. My ball joints only about 2 years old with less than 1k on them and the alignment is really good. Going to have that redone when I put new tires on though.
