Quick question for you all. Is it normal for your upper radiator hose to completely flatten when your truck is cold?
I have never noticed the upper hose to be completely flat when the engine is cold. Does not seem normal to me but I can't honestly say I've ever looked at it in the morning when the engine is completely cold either.
A lot of them do it. Technically your cap on the expansion tank is bad, you could replace it and it may or may not fix it for a while. I wouldn’t be to worried about it.
A rod the Ford tech has mentioned this on one of his vids & said something to the effect of congrats you have a nicely sealed coolant system ... good enough for him so it is not worrying me, mine does all the time.
