I just finished polishing my T-stat cover and want to install an upper radiator hose that looks as nice as my new polish-job. However, when I installed the existing generic upper radiator hose on this engine, it was VERY hard to get it into position because of how many twists and turns it needed in such a small space and the stiffness of the hose itself.
Has anyone had a similar problem AND used a braided hose for your upper radiator hose? Could you use aluminum pipe in the correct contortions mounted on each end by a small length of hose and still be structurally sound?
