Lower radiator hose cold

Anyone have an idea why my lower radiator hose is cold, even when my truck gets to normal operating temperature which is the “N” on Normal?

The top hose is hot

thank you

Means either your radiator is doing a great job, or the system has a restriction. If it's not over heating I wouldn't worry about it.

What's the ambient temperature outside?

Borrow someone's infrared thermometer and check temperature at different locations, hoses, block, radiator etc. Didn't think my engine was getting warm enough, it was the gauge sender.
