I have a 2004 f250 powerstroke 6.0 and my injector pulse width is jumping from around 1000us to over 100000 and I don't know why. The engine seems fine, drives good, no smoke or codes. Anyone know what would cause this and if I should be considered about it?
Constantly. Hot, cold, idle, under load. Always oscillating about every half second, which I believe is the input for the app reading the ecm. The voltages are steady. Im starting to think its an issue with the reading software.
I run my Edge CTS2 Insight the majority of the time to keep an eye on things. The only time I don't is when I'm using the laptop with Forscan when i'm troubleshooting something. Forscan has WAY more options for PIDs than the Edge does!
I have a 2002 7.3 that is having the same issue. By chance did you ever determine the culprit? I am having a heck of a time trying to learn and diagnose injector pulse width. Thanks much...
