Engine was puking oil all over the place and found it coming from the icp sensor. Pulled it and the o ring was torn. Put on new one and that's when I noticed the threads were stripped. Have no idea how this could have happened. Got a new one coming from Riff Raff. Worried about the threads in the head. I'm worried about putting new one in.
The head should be stronger than the sensor threads. The sensor threads should fail before the head does. Can you clean the hole out with a wire brush? I have a plumbing pipe brush that works well in this type of scenario.
