Noticed this wire sitting on the passenger side valley. Curious if you guys might know what it’s intended for? Also noticed wires going to a small block in the last pic and was also wondering what it does? Thanks for any information.
The wire looks like the one for the water sensor on the bottom of the fuel filter. Its supposed to be L shaped with a hollow tube that slides over the threaded end of the sensor. Looks like the tube part broke off. If you connect it to ground, see if the 'water in fuel' light comes on (ignition on).
I think the block thing has to do with the cold start, and high idle solenoids?
