What are this?

Looks sloppy in my opinion, but I have high standards. This runs from the brake booster connector, along the firewall, enters through the harness grommet, and is "spliced" in here. It is replacing a wire in this connector. Any idea as to what are this?

That is indeed a sloppy repair and if it bothers you enough re-pinning the connector with another proper terminal and spliced wire would be an option.

Like a lot of things though the repair could become quite a project, maybe if everything is working as it should currently that'd work?
